National Living Wage & National Minimum Wage: What to consider now
The National Living Wage comes into operation in April 2016. But who qualifies for it? What is the pay reference period? What happens with shift bonuses, piece work & commission? How does it interact with the existing National Minimum Wage? And what happens in an employer fails to pay it?
In this webcast, Kathy Daniels answers these questions and more with the following objectives in mind:
- understand when the NMW & NLW apply
- explain what has to be paid
- understand the deductions that can be made
- understand the penalties for non-compliance
